Lagos feat. Paris begins with a document. In a ceremony in Lagos before the concert, Fefé will receive a new Nigerian passport, and the festival will mark it as the homecoming it is.
The idea is simple and a little unusual for a music event. A passport is not a metaphor. It records where you are allowed to go, and for a generation of French artists of Nigerian origin it settles something a stage never could. The ceremony puts that in front of an audience in the same week as the show.
It also says what the festival is for. Lagos feat. Paris is not a tour stop with a French banner over it. It is a platform that moves people, repertoires and credits between two countries, and a passport is the clearest possible version of that exchange.
The ceremony takes place in Lagos in the days before 11 December 2026 and will be filmed for the festival's coverage. Artists, partners and members of the press who would like to attend or receive the footage can write to press@lagosfeatparis.com.
Everything else on this site, the camp, the workshops, the lineup, feeds the same idea. The two scenes are not performing next to each other for one night. They are already part of the same story.
